On April 3rd, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony between our school's School of Statistics and Management and the China Transportation Bank Credit Card Center was held at the headquarters of the Credit Card Center. Our school's Vice Dean of the School of Statistics and Management, You Jinhong, Executive Dean of the Institute of Data Science and Statistics, Feng Xingdong, Deputy Secretary of the School of Statistics and Management, Wang Ti, and Special Researcher of the School of Statistics and Management, Luo Sirong, along with others, went to the Credit Card Center to sign the cooperation agreement. Management, department heads, and senior managers from the China Transportation Bank Credit Card Center attended the ceremony.

Zou Yong, the Deputy General Manager of the Bank of Communications Credit Card Center, delivered a welcome speech. He began by discussing the development process of the Bank of Communications, noting that the credit card segment is at a critical moment of innovation and transformation, and ultimately, the transformation and development rely on various talents to drive it forward. They are extremely eager to gather and cultivate more outstanding talents. "Discovering and training talents from universities and actively engaging in school-enterprise cooperation is the bold first step we have taken." Looking at many universities, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics has consistently been at the forefront of discipline development nationwide. He firmly believes that the support from the technical strength of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics will surely elevate the technical capabilities and standards of the Bank of Communications Credit Card Center to a new level.

Next, Deputy Dean You Jinhong of the School of Statistics and Management delivered a speech. Professor You introduced Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the development overview of the statistics discipline. In 2017, the statistics discipline was selected for the list of world-class disciplines. Under the guidance of the construction of "world-class disciplines," the School of Statistics and Management continuously explores and strives to provide students with a higher quality training platform. Currently, the school has established close cooperative relationships with many institutions. The establishment of various cooperative platforms provides abundant industry-based part-time mentor resources and internship positions for talent cultivation. He stated that the Bank of Communications Card Center provides a good practical internship base for our school, which not only helps cultivate outstanding interdisciplinary talents who combine theory and practice for society but also allows for the establishment of a rich talent reserve according to its own needs, making this a mutually beneficial strategic cooperation. He hopes that both parties can deepen cooperation, move forward hand in hand, innovate talent cultivation models together, and nurture more talents that meet the demands of society.

In the presence of everyone, Vice Dean You Jinhong and Deputy General Manager Zou Yong signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.


After the signing ceremony, accompanied by the leaders of the Credit Card Center of Bank of Communications, representatives from our hospital visited the cultural exhibition hall of the Credit Card Center, further understanding the corporate culture.

Even before the signing ceremony, our institute had established contact with the Credit Card Center of Bank of Communications. Several students from our institute have interned at the Credit Card Center and have been well recognized by the center. The Credit Card Center hopes to establish an internship practice base through school-enterprise cooperation to tap into outstanding talent. Our institute aims to train students’ practical skills through collaboration, combining market orientation to cultivate talents that meet the needs of social development and enterprises, achieving mutual benefit and a win-win situation.
