On January 11, 2019, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and the school’s Party Committee Organization Department, and following prior communication and consensus, the signing ceremony for the pairing support between the School of Statistics and Management and the Party Organization of Dongmen Village, Fengcheng Town, Fengxian District was held at the Fengxian District Conference Center. Attendees included Wang Ti, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Statistics and Management, Wu Chunjie, Deputy Dean, and Xie Zhongmei, Secretary of the Party Branch of Dongmen Village, among others.
Before the signing ceremony, Xie Zhongmei introduced the basic situation of Dongmen Village and presented the recent work and future development directions of the village from the aspects of rural party building, creating beautiful villages, and "micro family party building". Deputy Secretary Wang Ti and Vice Dean Wu Chunjie introduced the college's basic situation from the perspectives of innovative party building work and talent cultivation, expressing the hope to provide assistance to Dongmen Village in terms of development concepts, cultural construction, beautiful ecological construction, and grassroots party building through joint efforts.
Subsequently, at the collective signing conference organized by the pairing and assistance in Fengcheng Town, Fengxian District, both parties signed the agreement.
On January 24, 2019, Wang Ti, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Statistics and Management, represented the school to visit Dongmen Village. He, along with Xie Gendong, Captain of the Fengxian Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics, and Xie Zhongmei, Secretary of the Dongmen Village Party Branch, visited five households of needy residents in the village. They inquired about the difficulties faced by each family and understood their health conditions, among other things, and presented them with care packages. This visit brought genuine care and warmth to seriously ill villagers and the elderly, who expressed their gratitude for the deep concern shown by the Party and the organization.
