On March 14, 2017, the School of Statistics and Management held a themed class meeting on the division of 2015 undergraduate students in the auditorium. The meeting was hosted by the 2015 undergraduate student counselor, Teacher Yao Liming, and invited Vice Dean Wu Chunjie, who is in charge of undergraduate teaching, Professor Chang Ning, the head of the Economic Statistics program, and Teacher Jiang Ying, the academic affairs secretary.
Our college's 2015 undergraduate students will be divided into two majors, Economic Statistics and Applied Statistics, in addition to the Statistical Experimental Class, with three directions: Financial Statistics and Risk Management, Economic Management Statistics, and Business Statistics. Based on the students' own actual situations, students can choose their directions autonomously, which significantly enhances flexibility and autonomy in their choices, benefiting students in stimulating interest and developing specialties in areas they excel in.
