On January 8, 2019, 22 students from our college's 2016 class of Applied Statistics Master's (Finance Investment and Risk Management) celebrated their graduation ceremony. Before the ceremony began, the college's Party and administrative leaders, teacher representatives, and graduates gathered for a group photo at the college building. Then, the graduation ceremony officially commenced, hosted by Mr. Bai Yang, the Deputy Director of the Applied Statistics Master's Center.
First, Vice Dean You Jinhong delivered a speech at the graduation ceremony, representing the college to congratulate all graduates and send blessings, hoping they will always maintain vitality and be dream chasers. The college will also continue to care about each student's development. He expressed the hope that everyone would maintain close contact with the college through the alumni association.
Class monitor Gan Chunfang spoke as a representative of the graduates, expressing heartfelt reflections on the changes in the school and classmates during their academic journey, especially the rise of the statistics discipline in recent years. She expressed gratitude for the nurturing from the school and the college, and while embracing change, encouraged all classmates to take positive action.
Subsequently, the director of the Professional Master’s Center, Teacher Zhang Mingfang, delivered a heartfelt message, acknowledging the achievements of the graduates and encouraging everyone to "love the country, aspire to greatness, seek truth, and act with determination," never giving up on their pursuits and projects, and to establish a mindset of lifelong learning.
Finally, Secretary Xue Liang announced the list of graduates, and each teacher awarded the graduation certificates to the graduates and took a commemorative photo.
