Our institute conducted a teaching inspection for the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics annual audit and evaluation for the year 2017.

On June 20, 2017, the 2017 audit evaluation teaching inspection of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics was conducted in our college. To further improve the quality of undergraduate education and standardize the undergraduate teaching system, our university recently organized the 2017 audit evaluation teaching inspection. This inspection focused on the outstanding issues identified in the routine teaching inspection of this academic year, primarily examining the quality of undergraduate teaching work during the 2016-2017 academic year.


Vice Dean Cao Xiaoxia of the School Review and Evaluation Office, Professor Jin Dehuan, Professor Lin Hui, Professor Sun Yan, Professor Fang Fang, and Professor Zhu Kai of the expert group, Dean Zhou Yong, Secretary Xue Liang, Vice Dean Wu Chunjie, as well as the department heads and key teachers of our institute attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Vice Dean Cao Xiaoxia.

First, Professor Zhou Yong, Dean of the School of Statistics and Management, reported to the expert group on the undergraduate teaching work of our college from aspects such as self-inspection, professional planning, implementation of teaching systems, and the teaching quality assurance system and measures. Subsequently, the expert group participated in discussions on our college's educational philosophy and professional planning, as well as on-site inspections, and reviewed papers and exam materials. Finally, the experts of the expert group filled out feedback forms and provided evaluation comments to the college. Thus, the university's audit evaluation and teaching inspection for our college in 2017 successfully concluded.

The audit and evaluation of teaching inspections is one of the important assessment methods for teaching quality management and also accumulates experience for undergraduate education. The college takes the audit and evaluation of teaching inspections as an opportunity, adhering to the principles of subjectivity, specificity, and empirical evidence, fully leveraging the college's leading role in professional development. Based on the recognition of our high-quality papers and well-regulated management processes, we further improve and standardize the existing issues in paper and exam document aspects, increase efforts to standardize the management of exam grading details, and conduct in-depth research on the core issues of professional development and the prominent problems in talent cultivation, continually fostering innovative statistical talents for society.
