On November 17, 2016, the School of Statistics and Management, along with our university's Admissions Office, signed the "Outstanding Talent Base Agreement" with Yinchuan First High School and Second High School in Ningxia, and held a plaque unveiling ceremony and promotional activities.
On the morning of November 17, Ningxia Yinchuan No. 2 Middle School held a grand signing ceremony with our school for the "Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Excellent Talent Source Base." Deputy Director of the Admissions Office Peng Xi, Vice Dean of the School of Statistics and Management Wu Chunjie, and Office Director Cai Lixia participated in the signing ceremony along with several school leaders from Yinchuan No. 2 Middle School, including Secretary Liu Xilin. Deputy Director Peng Xi and Vice Dean Wu Chunjie each delivered speeches, introducing the history, development, faculty strength, student training outcomes, enrollment plans, and graduate employment situations of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the School of Statistics and Management. Director Peng and Secretary Liu signed the agreement for co-establishing the "Excellent Talent Source Base" between Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Yinchuan No. 2 Middle School, followed by a plaque unveiling ceremony. Afterwards, Director Peng delivered an enthusiastic speech in front of all the senior students at No. 2 Middle School, which received a positive response from the students. Thus, Yinchuan No. 2 Middle School officially became one of the excellent talent source bases for Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

On the afternoon of the 17th, our school's representatives went to Yinchuan No. 1 Middle School for a signing and plaque unveiling ceremony. After both sides introduced their basic situations, Vice Principal Kang Yan of Yinchuan No. 1 Middle School and our Director Peng conducted the signing and awarding ceremony on behalf of their respective schools. At 5:15 PM, Director Peng gave a presentation to the senior students of Yinchuan No. 1, introducing our school's admissions and employment situations, and interacting with the students. Thus, the College of Statistics and Management and the Admissions Office successfully concluded this signing and plaque unveiling ceremony for the high-quality talent source base.

The signing and unveiling of the quality student source base was strongly supported by our school's Ningxia Alumni Association. Among them, President Peng of the Alumni Association stated that the Ningxia Alumni Association will fully support our school in establishing an excellent student source base in Ningxia, providing a solid backing for continuously supplying quality students to the university.
The School of Statistics and Management understands the characteristics and training objectives of secondary education through the construction of an excellent student source base, tracking specific students while stimulating their interest with preparatory courses in finance and economics. The college has established cooperative relationships with Liuan No. 1 Middle School in Anhui, Northeast Normal University Affiliated High School in Jilin, Jilin No. 1 Middle School, Changchun No. 11 Middle School, and several nationally outstanding middle schools in Henan, working hard to co-build an excellent student source base. In accordance with the requirements for scientific selection of talent, the school aims to identify middle school students with potential in finance and economics, better serving the innovative talent cultivation goals of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
