On April 27, Ji Hong, Dean of the Institute of Big Data and Statistics at Capital University of Economics and Business, and Ruan Jing, Vice Dean, along with industry experts Yan Xuelin, General Manager of JMP Greater China at SAS, Ge Baoqin, Director of Brand Strategy at Longxin Data Co., Ltd., and Ren Yinyi, General Manager of East China at Beijing Juyuan Ruisi Data Technology Co., Ltd., visited the Institute of Data Science and Statistics. Present at the meeting were Zhou Yong, Dean of the School of Statistics and Management, Secretary Xue Liang, Vice Dean You Jinhong, Assistant Dean Huang Tao, and all researchers from the Institute of Data Science and Statistics.
At present, there is a significant gap in big data talent, and both parties have engaged in in-depth and extensive discussions on jointly conducting big data training. Based on industry references, both parties have reached a consensus on teacher training and vocational training, and will jointly develop corresponding training plans and curriculum structures, forming an alliance from online to offline.
To seize the opportunity of big data development, the attendees discussed other aspects of big data collaboration and will jointly hold related big data activities.
Finally, regarding our hospital's active application for the establishment of a new undergraduate program in "Data Science and Big Data Technology," Dean Ji Hong provided valuable advice based on his own experience.
