It is jointly organized by the "Five Finance and One Trade" institutions, with the competition hosted by Northeast University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Central University of Finance and Economics, South-Central University of Finance and Economics, and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, while the University of International Business and Economics will host the award ceremony.

The successful holding of this competition is an important initiative for the school to deeply implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing people, as well as to carry out General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discussions on education and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party. The competition event provides a platform for teachers of “Mathematical Statistics” courses at finance and economics universities across the country to showcase, exchange, and learn, which is beneficial for the construction of first-class courses, first-class majors, and first-class teaching teams in finance and economics universities. By promoting practice through competition, enhancing teaching through competition, and driving reform through competition, it has improved the level of ideological and political education in the curriculum and the effectiveness of nurturing students, laying a solid foundation for further realizing the sharing of high-quality educational resources and advancing the construction of new liberal arts.
