In the April of the human world, the spring breeze is warm. On April 20, 2019, the first China Youth Statisticians Forum recruitment event was held at the Student Activity Center of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Currently, the fields of big data and artificial intelligence are becoming increasingly active, and there is a severe shortage of talent. This recruitment fair takes advantage of the forum event to establish a communication bridge between universities with statistics-related departments across the country and outstanding young Ph.D. students in the field of statistics. The recruitment fair attracted many young Ph.D. students from universities nationwide to come and apply.

In addition to the host Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, there are top comprehensive universities such as Tsinghua University, Hunan University, East China Normal University, and Xiamen University, as well as brother institutions like Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Northeast University of Finance and Economics, Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, and Shandong University of Finance and Economics. The first China Youth Statisticians Forum was hosted by the National Industrial Statistics Teaching Research Association and organized by the School of Statistics and Management of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. At this forum, the National Industrial Statistics Teaching Research Association "Youth Statisticians Association" was established. The association aims to promote communication among young statisticians and regularly hold the China Youth Statisticians Annual Forum.
