In order to further promote the solid and in-depth development of the theme education of "staying true to the original aspiration and keeping the mission firmly in mind," continuously strengthen the construction of grassroots party organizations, enhance the organizational capacity of grassroots party organizations, extend the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party to the grassroots level, comprehensively improve the organizational strength of party branches, enhance the political function of party branches, and consolidate the organizational foundation for the Party's long-term governance. On November 13, 2019, Comrade Zhu Mingxiong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, Comrade Jiang Ping, Secretary of the Party General Branch of the College of Foreign Languages, and Comrade Wang Yingjue, Organizer of the College of Foreign Languages, conducted the 2019 annual inspection of the responsibility system for grassroots party building at Room 1202 of the Administrative College. Participating were Comrade Xue Liang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Statistical and Management College, Comrade Wang Ti, Deputy Secretary, Comrade Cai Lixia, Office Director, Comrade Zhuang Mei, Director of the Student Work Office, Comrade Wang Yuqin, Organizer, and Comrade Zhu Mengxue, Party Committee Member.
First, Comrade Xue Liang, the Secretary of the Party Committee, reported to the inspection team on the basic work of Party building in the college for the year 2019. The college resolutely fulfills its responsibilities in grassroots Party building, integrates college resources, innovates organizational life for Party organizations and themed Party day activities, and continuously strengthens new models for talent cultivation, enhancing the exemplary role of Party members in teaching and research.
Secondly, the inspection team conducted a focused review based on the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics 2019 Annual Grassroots Party Organization Implementation of Party Building Work Responsibility System Inspection Checklist, particularly examining aspects such as the construction of grassroots party organization leadership teams, grassroots party organization development, party member recruitment, party member education, party member management, integration into the urban grassroots party building work framework, strengthening the support and guarantee system for grassroots party building, as well as theoretical research on party building and innovative work explorations.
Finally, Comrade Zhu Mingxiong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, gave a concluding speech. Secretary Zhu affirmed the achievements of the college in grassroots Party building work. The college closely centered around the fundamental task of "cultivating virtue and educating people," building a platform for ideological and political education in courses, and has achieved significant results in student ideological and political education, as well as student employment and further education. He pointed out that in the face of new situations and tasks, as well as new contradictions and problems, the college Party Committee should follow the deployment requirements of the Party's construction in the new era with a serious attitude, organizing Party members, gathering talent, and mobilizing the masses, striving to create a brand effect for the "first-class discipline" in statistics, laying a solid foundation for the next steps in discipline evaluation, faculty recruitment, and talent cultivation.
