On the afternoon of May 14, under the leadership of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Statistics and Data Science at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Teacher Zhuang Mei, Master’s program counselor Teacher Cao Xinyi, and undergraduate counselor Teacher Qu Lintong, a group of faculty and students from the college visited Shanghai Shuhe Information Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct a corporate visit activity. Wang Min, Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Shuhe Technology, Zhao Yiren, Model Director of the Decision Science Department, Recruiting Manager Leng Mengjie, and alumni representatives Zhou Zhihua and Yu Mengyi participated in the event, engaging in in-depth exchanges with the faculty and students. As an important enterprise in the domestic Internet finance sector, Shuhe Technology focuses on the "Huanbei" product, deeply cultivating the consumer finance field relying on big data and artificial intelligence technology. After introducing the company's business overview, the topic shifted to talent development and recruitment, which the students were particularly interested in. During the technical sharing session, Chief Risk Officer Wang Min and Model Director Zhao Yiren provided professional explanations on the themes of "Research on Risk Models in Financial Credit Business" and "Application of Algorithms in Financial Credit Business." Through two warm-up questions, both sides engaged in a lively discussion on the construction of the credit system and the entire process of model development, demonstrating how to address business pain points through algorithmic models with case studies. Furthermore, they looked ahead to the vast application prospects of AI technology in the field of risk management, introducing how cutting-edge AI technology empowers financial business and enhances decision-making efficiency.
