On June 17th, Yang Hui, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Statistics and Data Science at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Zhu Mingxiong, alumni advisor, and Wang Yuqin, organizer, visited alumni in Hangzhou. They visited Yang Jianmin, a 1990 undergraduate alumnus, and Dai Hongwei, a 1996 undergraduate alumnus. They also visited alumni enterprises on site to discuss alumni friendship and development plans.
During the visit, Secretary Yang Hui and his delegation first reported to two alumni on the recent progress of alumni work in the college, detailing the latest developments in discipline construction, talent cultivation, scientific research, and other aspects. Secretary Yang Hui and his delegation visited Baoding Qianxin Integrated Circuit (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. founded by alumni Yang Jianmin, as well as Hangzhou Xiaobang Network Technology Co., Ltd. founded by alumni Dai Hongwei. During the visit, the college leaders gained a detailed understanding of the development history, main business, technological innovation achievements, and future development plans of the two companies, and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of the alumni in their respective fields. Secretary Yang Hui stated that alumni are the most valuable asset and shining business card of the college.
