Preface
I am honored to have the opportunity to leave a memoir during graduation season. There are many big shots in the National Institute of Statistics, but I am not particularly outstanding in academics. I will not go into too much detail here. In the past four years, I have been fortunate enough to have made campus life more exciting through bold attempts. I minored in finance at our university and had an exchange program at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. I served as the head of the External Relations Department of the Student Union and participated in artistic activities such as the National College Artistic Gymnastics Championships, the 18th anniversary performance of the school dance troupe, the Golden Wing Cup Drama Competition, and the recording of "Under the Bright Sun". I also achieved some rankings in the sprint events at the school sports meet and won first prize in the Challenge Cup National Competition and third prize in the International Youth Leadership Summit.

Consciousness comes first, and literature and art follow suit
As a newcomer, I was actually quite confused and worried about not being able to balance my studies and extracurricular life well. Therefore, during the recruitment stage, I only chose to join the external liaison department of the college. Looking back, I am very grateful to Hu Bu and Jiao Jie for choosing me, which made me more outgoing and able to handle multi-threaded tasks more freely. I also made a group of very good friends and had a very happy year.
My sophomore year was the busiest, most fulfilling, and happiest year for me. I became the head of the External Relations Department and continued my hobbies by joining the school dance troupe and artistic gymnastics team. I also tried to be a lecture host and performed in plays. I shuttle between my dormitory, cafeteria, teaching building, elevator teaching, dance studio, gymnasium, and campus every day. Every evening and weekend, there are also various rehearsals, and I have gained valuable friendships through various activities. Despite being busy with various activities, I have never slackened in my studies. In my sophomore year, I achieved a GPA of 3.93, ranking first in my major and winning the second prize in the National College Artistic Gymnastics Championships, the second prize in the Golden Wing Cup Drama Competition, and the individual best award. I also achieved great success in the 18th anniversary performance of the school dance troupe, and in the same year, I won the National Scholarship, the People's Scholarship, and the Academic Achievement Award.
In my junior year, I spent a semester abroad on an exchange program. I would like to express my gratitude to my family, teachers, and friends for their support, which allowed me to make up my mind to go abroad during a period of severe COVID-19. I also want to thank myself for having the courage at that time. I took four courses as electives, three in statistics and one in finance. The courses at Wharton School were quite challenging, especially in finance. Fortunately, my minor in finance laid a solid foundation for me. I deepened my understanding through the application of knowledge and developed dialectical thinking through group assignments. This allowed me to successfully pursue a Master's degree in finance during my third year of recommendation for graduate school. I also want to thank Fudan University's School of International Finance for recognizing me.

Graduation message
Looking back on the past four years, the first two words that come to my mind are "luck" and "gratitude". I am fortunate to have come to my favorite college and major, fortunate to have formed a group of like-minded friends, and fortunate to shine in the direction I love. At the same time, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family, teachers, friends, my parents for their continuous support, my mentors such as Wu Chunjie, Li Tao, Liu Xu, Cao Xiao, and Cao Jie for their help and guidance during the application season, all the teachers who have taught me, my senior colleagues who have helped me over the past four years, my junior staff, and every friend who has accompanied me all along.
I often use 'the harder you work, the luckier you get' as the conclusion of my speech, and today I also want to give it to everyone who reads this article. I hope everyone can try harder during their youth, and I also believe that luck will come to every hardworking person.
Finally, happy graduation and wish everyone a bright future!
