Class Committee Exchange Meeting
Join hands and create a better future together
On the evening of September 27, 2024, at 18:00, the class committee exchange meeting for Room 1114 of the School of Statistics and Data Science at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics began on time! All class cadres came to learn and exchange experiences. This event is organized by the Youth League Office, and everyone is busy from planning the event, writing push notifications, to moving tables and chairs to decorate the classroom, hosting on-site, and controlling the venue. At the event, the class committee shared their experience in managing the class and organizing activities, and there was constant laughter on site. The team members worked together and the exchange meeting ended smoothly, and everyone gained a lot!

Fun Sports Day
Unity of Heart and Virtue, Building Dreams for the Future
On November 19, 2024, as the winter season grew stronger, the Youth League Committee of the College of Statistics and the small members of the Student Union became familiar after two months of interaction. In order to help everyone integrate into the collective faster and enhance understanding, a fun sports meet has opened with joy! As the organizer of the team, the members put great effort into designing a series of novel games and also prepared cute and exquisite gifts. Everyone is fully committed and increasingly united. Each game tests mutual cooperation and communication, and the event came to a successful conclusion amidst laughter and joy.

Half term Summary Conference
On December 13, 2024, the half term summary conference for the first semester of 2024 is here! The classroom was filled with people, and everyone started chatting excitedly with each other. At the conference, the students reviewed the half semester together, shared the successful work they had done, roast about the "pit" they had stepped on, and demonstrated the new skills they had gained. We happily played the loudspeaker and creative competition game together, full of fun! After summarizing the past, everyone enthusiastically planned the second half of the semester and encouraged each other. Looking forward to a highly motivated next semester together!

Directional off-road activities
Spring Outing Song Tour
On the afternoon of April 1, 2025, the "Spring Outing Song Tour" directional off-road camping activity, jointly planned by the Youth League Office and the organization, kicked off. From the refinement of the plan to the layout of the site, the team and project organization have devoted their efforts to creating an exclusive spring adventure. At the event, students fiercely discussed strategies and worked together to complete tasks in the game, cheering and clapping after passing the level with tacit understanding. Watching everyone's bright smiles, the tension and exhaustion during preparation instantly turned into a sense of accomplishment. This activity not only relieved the students of their academic pressure, but also became a catalyst for the warming of friendship. For participants, it is a precious memory of spring; For us organizers, those days and nights of preparation, witnessing laughter, have also become unforgettable spring paintings in our hearts.

Analyze all phenomena and explore the forest in numbers
On May 13, 2025, students from the Youth League Committee and Student Union of the School of Statistics and Data Science gathered at the Green Leaf Pedestrian Street to hold the 8th "Statistics Impression" Festival. The Youth League Committee and Student Union have carefully prepared, and each booth combines fun games with statistical themes, such as the "Women's Tea Blind Test Challenge". Not only does it showcase the unique charm of statistics, but it also attracts a large number of teachers and students from the school to participate, adding a unique statistical highlight to campus culture.

On June 11, 2025, the Youth League Committee of the School of Statistics and Data Science and members of the Student Union gathered together to hold an annual experience sharing session. The third team building! Let's try Xinjiang cuisine together, celebrate our birthdays, and share interesting stories about our learning and life. Our friendship is growing stronger and stronger!
KTV Party!!!! The group gathers at KTV, everyone is a McDonald's, super relaxed and happy, happy to play and continue working seriously after fun!!!
3、 Member Reflection
Liu Jingyi:
This year, the time spent in the group organization shone brightly. From ignorance to maturity, from unfamiliarity to proficiency, I have honed my abilities through meetings and activities, and quietly gained friendships and growth. The mountains are high and the waters are long, with a promising future ahead. The path of team building will surely go further and brighter!
Meng Fanqi:
As soon as I stepped into the campus, I didn't quite understand anything. It was the ministers who taught us step by step, patiently and gently, bringing us little by little into this warm collective. Slowly, I learned how to do something well and how to find balance amidst busyness, so that learning and work complement each other. Working in a group organization is both fortunate and happy.
Zhu Siyu:
When I first joined the team, I organized activity materials, filled my notebook with to-do lists for meetings, and collected starlight in the laughter during team building. From tightly reporting on the planning proposal to being able to collaborate with partners to complete events one after another, those nights of working overtime together and repeatedly polishing details have become medals engraved in time. Growing up is never about walking alone, but about being with a group of shining people, turning ordinary days into poetic lines of youth.
Pan Yuxin:
Recalling the hurried time I spent in the group office during my freshman year, I can still feel the small happiness in every moment when the group office members gather together. During this year, under the organization of three ministers from the Youth League Office, my friends and I worked together to complete many exciting activities. We discuss creative event planning together, celebrate each other's birthdays together, and chat about our university studies and life together. We always gather together in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Over the course of this year, the group organizer has embodied warm and powerful labels: independent, capable, inclusive, colorful, and most importantly, passionate. We have merged into a happy big family, but in the blink of an eye, time has passed by too quickly. However, I believe that the unique warmth of the Youth League will flow through each of us and continue to the new Youth League organizer.
Li Siyao:
Joining the Youth League was a very fortunate choice in my college life. Not only did I meet a group of new friends here, but I also grew up. From initially being flustered about the process, to gradually learning how to organize work, prepare meetings, and write planning proposals. Each event left a unique memory for me and the team. May the future branch committee office continue to sail with the original intention and paddle with passion, gathering more followers of light.
Jiang Haozhe:
During the year of the Youth League Office, every task, from how to make advance and backward promotions, to how to plan activities, to logistical arrangements, was carefully guided by the ministers and cooperated with the members. The Youth League Office is like a big family, where we get to know each other and grow through various work and team building activities. The time spent on team work will surely become a precious asset on our life journey!
Gong Yiwen:
I am very fortunate that I chose to join this warm family in my freshman year. Here, I not only met a group of like-minded partners, but also gained many unexpected growth experiences. Every task is a new challenge, and every effort has its own rewards. What is even more precious is that the little things I have worked hard with everyone have made my college life so rich and colorful. This year is particularly meaningful because of the team organization.
Hou Zheyin:
I have gained happiness and growth in the year of the team organization, which is the sweat I put in during the planning and hosting of various activities, as well as the joy of celebrating and chatting with my partners. Team building is not only a platform for growth, but also a warm harbor, and we hope that the path of team building will become even more brilliant in the future.
Li Yanzuo:
I just entered university and didn't know any friends, let alone how to organize an event. After joining the Youth League Office, although the ministers were only one year older than us, they took us as ministers to break the ice, liven up the atmosphere, and taught us step by step to complete the activities. Although the members come from all over the world, they all interact with kindness and work with a positive and dedicated attitude. I remember sometimes when I have a lot of things to do and neglect the tasks of the team, everyone will immediately help me complete my part of the promotion activities, and I don't mind putting in more effort. I also receive fruits from angel members in the dormitory from time to time. Thank you to the minister and such a group of friends for accompanying me through my freshman year in the group organization.
Yang Wentao:
In the four season cycle of the Youth League Office, I learned to prepare and arrange rigorously, organize and coordinate calmly, and better understand how to bond with my partners. The moments of joint planning and execution not only light up the skill tree, but also cultivate the most precious camaraderie among classmates. In the midst of busyness and challenges, I found belonging and transformation.
4、 Future prospects
Standing at a new starting point, we will continue to promote the work of the Youth League Committee and the Student Union to a new level with the concept of "service-oriented, innovation driven". In the future, we plan to deepen special activities such as the "Statistics · Impression Culture Festival" and incorporate more interactive and professional elements to bring new vitality to classics. In terms of team building, we will build a stronger team through skills training, job rotation practice, and cross departmental collaboration, so that every member can grow in service. Looking forward to creating more wonderful memories for the teachers and students of the College with a more professional attitude, innovative thinking, and warm service in the new academic year, so that the original intention of "unity of heart and virtue, building a dream for the future" can shine brighter in practice!
