This semester, the practical project team organized many activities and achieved satisfactory results.
On the evening of November 5, 2024, the bookmark making activity of the "One Stop" handmade art workshop of Tianfang "Ye" Tan was launched. The practical project team invited teachers and students to draw autumn rhymes together with autumn leaves as paper. Everyone is immersed in the creation of art bookmarks, either painting exquisite patterns, inscribing elegant poems, or printing the logo of the Imperial Academy. Autumn leaves transform into guardians of writing and ink in ingenuity, with poetry and craftsmanship flowing between the veins. Every inch of bookmark reflects the creator's thoughts, composing a beautiful autumn chapter.
On November 30, 2024, the "Boundless Creativity, Handmade Carnival" event jointly organized by the Practice Project Group and the External Relations Project Group of the School of Statistics and Data Science came to a successful conclusion. Classmates imbue plain white dolls with spiritual charm through colorful designs, and fan designs that are either elegant or playful have become art treasures; Under skillful hands, beans are transformed into interesting shapes. During the event, focused gaze and hearty laughter intertwined, showcasing a love for creative handicrafts. This is the collision of soul and creativity, and the deep integration of soul and art.
On December 17, 2024, in celebration of the Winter Solstice, the practical project team of the college student union and Class 2 of the 24 Jin Tong Double Degree Program jointly launched the "Festival Gathering, Practice and Blossom" one-stop labor education activity of the college. Everyone sat around and played board games together, with laughter and sweet cakes adorned with beauty and flavor. The final dumpling making session, with fingertips fluttering, the snow-white dough wrapped in warmth and anticipation, the dumplings floating and sinking in boiling water, the warmth of the Winter Solstice, and the quiet blooming of labor education in a reunion atmosphere.
On the afternoon of March 18, 2025, the "Bookish Fragrance · Smart Companion" handmade DIY activity of the Institute was quietly launched. Classmates immersed themselves in the world of paper art, flipping their fingertips, and the plain paper gradually bloomed: folding out the contours of mountains and rivers, cutting out the charm of flowers and birds, and pasting together imaginary three-dimensional pavilions. When the sunshine shines over the focused eyebrows and eyes, three-dimensional books carrying clever ideas leap into the palm of one's hand. Ink fragrance and craftsmanship dance together, making this spring afternoon a poetic line that carries the joy of creation in time.
On April 15, 2025, the "Creative Floral Art · Handmade Blossoming" one-stop floral art DIY activity was launched in the warm sun. We have prepared wicker flower baskets, floral scissors, and colorful flowers, waiting patiently for our classmates to come to this fingertip and flower invitation. At the event, enthusiasm blossomed like spring flowers, with cutting and laughter intertwined. When the flower basket is filled with spring colors, even the materials that are not in demand become footnotes for creation, allowing every strand of floral fragrance to be infused with the persistence of beauty. In the time of late spring, it becomes a basket of poetry and love that never withers.
On April 29, 2025, from 16:00 to 17:00, the activity room in the dormitory park of buildings 9-11 will be transformed into an art workshop. 20 students will go on a "Labor, One Stop" community "Art Charm, Light, DIY Journey" together. Oil paper umbrella ribs support the smoke and rain, bamboo handles link the spring charm, and traditional crafts stretch into poetry at fingertips; Grain painting uses rice and beans as ink, spreading natural rhythms, turning "every grain works hard" into a rich poem on the canvas; The gold foil painting uses thin foil like cutting clouds, and when pasted, it creates flowing golden light and shadow, solidifying the splendor of time in every inch. This immersive handmade journey resonates with the millennium cultural texture and contemporary craftsmanship, blooming into the artistic and cultural glow of the community in the afternoon during the Grain Rain season.
On May 27, 2025, the "Fine Weaving and Crafting · Dragon Boat Festival Health" handicraft activity was launched in the fragrance of mugwort. Classmates toss and weave bamboo strips with their fingertips, discussing folk customs together. Between the bamboo strips, objects gradually form, and the fragrance of zongzi blends with that of bamboo, weaving the cultural warmth of the Dragon Boat Festival into poetry by hand.
2、 Team building situation
Outside of work, our practical project team also held team building activities this semester. On the evening of March 16, 2025, all members of the project team held a birthday party for several department members who celebrated their winter vacation birthdays. They gathered together happily, feeling the warmth from home even though they were far away. In this menstrual year, although there is no grand jade banquet like Qionglou or the brilliance of jade like bells and drums, in the gentle breeze of morning dew and evening breeze, and the subtle warmth of fireworks in daily life, a fragrant roll of time has been woven into sleeves, settling into a precious annual light worth cherishing.

Huang Shanshan: Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, I have been working in the practical project team for a year. When it comes to my thoughts, the words that flash through my mind are growth, friendship, and happiness. I am very happy to have two responsible and patient ministers who patiently answer our questions at work and provide us with exam guides before the exam. During this year, I organized activities with my colleagues in the department. From the proposal, planning, and final implementation of the activities, everyone worked tirelessly to complete the tasks. During the preparation process of the activities, my coordination and organizational skills were greatly improved. At the same time, I also cherish the friendship with my friends very much. Every team building experience makes me feel very warm and fulfilled. Congratulations on meeting, no regrets in parting. Wishing the dear practice project team continued brilliance in the future!
Ran Mingxuan: In the year since joining the practical project team, I have gained a lot. Firstly, under the leadership of the minister, we have completed meaningful activities one after another. When participating in the planning of these projects, I realized the importance of teamwork, and I have also learned a lot of knowledge during the participation process. Secondly, I felt the relaxed atmosphere of university in the practical project group, which allowed me to relax while studying. I also received help from different aspects of the department head and team members, which made my university life more rich and relaxed. Finally, as a member of the student union, I have found my own meaning while serving other classmates. It has made my connections with my school classmates even closer. Thank you to the practical project team and the college student union!
Chen Zizhi: I remember when I first stepped into the campus, among various organizations and clubs, I chose the practical department. This small decision gave me a fulfilling and happy extracurricular life for the entire academic year. Met like-minded partners, prepared for work together, made good purchases, and completed tweets. We exchange ideas, collaborate and help each other, making DIY's creativity active in interaction. (Although sometimes ddl only remembers to start working, the final effect of the activity is always satisfactory. We are truly a professional team, and our strength is strong haha)
Lin Yuhang: Time flies, and the year of the practical project team has come to an end. Here, I met two gentle, kind, and responsible ministers, as well as positive, united, and friendly members. We have organized many activities together and often collaborate with other departments, achieving great success every time. During this year, I have tried many positions such as planning, tweets, field control, etc. Whether it's preparing for events or participating in them, I have gained new insights and growth every time.
Su Jianying: Every collision of "imaginative ideas" in an activity leads to practice. From the selection of slogans for the conference time project team at the beginning of last year, to the last Dragon Boat Festival themed event this year, the photos captured by the "photography" work have been a wonderful year for us.
Shao Siyun: Working in a practical project team is a precious experience that intertwines growth and responsibility for me. In this year's work, I collaborated with ministers and members to plan and execute a series of practical activities. From being unfamiliar with the activity process at the beginning, to gradually accumulating different types of work experience, I gained valuable experience from transforming from an event participant to an event organizer. At the same time, I also made friends with colleagues in the department, worked together on team building, had dinner together, and gained unforgettable friendships.
Xing Zhaojun: Unconsciously, I have been in the practice project team for a year now. Looking back, I just wanted to find something to do in college life to distinguish myself from high school life. Later on, I realized that the significance of the department to me goes far beyond that. It was my first time writing a planning proposal and a tweet The department has allowed me to experience many firsts, not only improving my experience and abilities, but also making me meet many new friends. This is a very meaningful experience for me.
