Exploration and Practice of Large Models "is a general elective course offered by the college for the whole school, taught by Professor Teng Jiaye. To comprehensively test and demonstrate students' mastery depth and practical application ability of large models, Teacher Teng Jiaye adopted the innovative form of holding poster achievement exhibitions to evaluate the phased effectiveness of the course, which vividly reflects the practical effectiveness of the "tool driven, problem oriented" teaching philosophy upheld by the course. The Applied Statistics and Data Science Teaching and Research Office also organized some teachers to visit this achievement exhibition and have in-depth exchanges with students from various groups.

This achievement exhibition showcased the innovative solutions constructed by all 22 students and 11 project groups in the course, focusing on real-life pain points in areas such as social life, creative tools, learning assistance, and investment analysis, using large model tools flexibly. For example, a group targets travel planning difficulties and combines MBTI personality analysis to create personalized itinerary planning tools; A team has developed a "convenient assistant" project that quickly generates calendar to-do lists through screenshots, significantly improving the efficiency of information processing and knowledge management; Another group combined the six lines of the Book of Changes with quantitative investment to generate a "strategy signature" auxiliary decision-making system.

The exhibition is conducted in the form of a joint tour by teachers and students, with questions and answers answered immediately. Students elaborate on the project background, technology selection, implementation logic, and application effects, while visiting teachers raise professional questions from the perspectives of the rationality of tool application, feasibility of project implementation, and rigor of technical details. This interactive process breaks through the traditional mode of homework grading, guiding students to think deeply and express themselves clearly, making the transmission and absorption of knowledge vivid and efficient.

This poster exhibition guides students to effectively transform the tools and methods learned in the course into practical abilities to solve real-world problems. Students not only have a solid grasp of technical tools, but also demonstrate a keen insight into application scenarios, systematic design of solutions, and engineering abilities to implement their ideas. This approach can effectively stimulate students' learning initiative and innovative creativity, providing an effective path worth exploring in depth for cultivating high-quality talents who can adapt to the needs of the artificial intelligence era, possess both tool application ability and innovative literacy.
