Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as discipline construction, talent cultivation, and scientific research cooperation. They also paid a special visit to Liu Xu, the on-secondment cadre, to learn more about his work and living conditions, laying a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation between the two universities. After the discussion meeting, Zhu Mingxiong and his delegation also visited the exhibition hall of the China-ASEAN Statistical Institute to gain a firsthand impression of the institute's educational achievements and development characteristics.

In the afternoon, Zhu Mingxiong and Yang Hui visited the Guangxi Branch of Bank of Communications for exchanges. President Guan Huixuan and relevant department heads warmly received them. Zhu Mingxiong introduced the disciplinary strengths of the school and the training of graduates, while the Guangxi Branch of Bank of Communications shared insights on industry development trends and talent demand orientation. This "visiting enterprises to expand job opportunities" activity has built a solid bridge for school-enterprise cooperation, paving the way for comprehensive and multi-level collaboration between both parties in the future.

On that day, Zhu Mingxiong and his delegation held a symposium with representatives of the Guangxi Alumni Association. Zhang Ronghui, the president of the Alumni Association, and several alumni representatives gathered together. He introduced the school's development achievements and future plans in recent years. The alumni actively spoke up, sharing their personal struggles and industry insights, and expressed their deep affection and best wishes for their alma mater. At the event, Zhu Mingxiong and his delegation awarded the Guangxi Alumni Association with a plaque reading "Admissions and Employment Liaison Station", marking a closer connection between the school and Guangxi alumni in talent cultivation, employment recommendation, resource sharing, and other aspects. This will provide stronger support for the employment development of the school's students in the Guangxi region.

On the 17th, Zhu Mingxiong visited Shao Xiangneng, a alumnus of the 1946 Statistical School. Zhu Mingxiong had a long and heartfelt conversation with his old schoolmate, inquiring about his physical condition and daily life, and conveying the school's deep concern and best wishes. Alumnus Shao Xiangneng reminisced about his school days at his alma mater, expressing deep appreciation for the school's care and condolences, and also sharing his profound affection and ardent expectations for his alma mater. This visit not only made the old alumnus feel the warmth of his alma mater but also passed on the deep friendship between the school and its alumni.

The launch of the series of exchange activities has not only deepened the cooperation ties between Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and universities and enterprises in Guangxi, but also united alumni forces and broadened new paths for the school's enrollment, employment, and development. In the future, the college will continue to uphold the concept of open cooperation, strengthen inter-school, school-enterprise, and alumni connections, and inject stronger impetus into talent cultivation, discipline construction, and social services.
