To thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on education and the spirit of the National Education Conference, and to fully comply with the requirements of the "Notice on Relying on Cloud Platforms to Deepen the Construction of 'One-Stop' Comprehensive Management Mode in Student Communities" issued by the Department of Ideological and Political Work of the Ministry of Education, as well as the "Guidelines for the Construction of 'One-Stop' Comprehensive Management Mode in Student Communities in Colleges and Universities", the school continues to promote the deployment of school and college leadership, management, ideological and political work, and service forces to student communities. By taking multiple measures, it effectively integrates party building and ideological and political work into student community construction, breaks through the last mile of "holistic education", and creates a "one-stop" student community with distinctive characteristics of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

As the winter vacation approaches, in order to ensure that students staying on campus have a safe, warm, and fulfilling holiday, on January 14, 2026, the School of Statistics and Data Science launched a "one-stop" winter vacation condolence activity in the student community. Zhuang Mei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Zhu Feng, Director of the Student Office, Cao Xinyi, a counselor for master's and doctoral students, as well as Yu Gen, a class teacher for undergraduates, Xiong Jufeng, a counselor, and Qu Lintong, all entered the student dormitories and doctoral offices to gain a detailed understanding of the students' learning and living conditions, help solve practical difficulties, and send festive greetings and warm snacks, conveying the care and warmth of the school during the winter season.

Teachers Zhuang Mei and Zhu Feng first entered the doctoral students' office, extending their New Year greetings to the students who were still conducting research work on campus during the holidays. They encouraged everyone to maintain their enthusiasm for scientific research, plan their time reasonably, and strive to make new academic progress. At the same time, the two teachers reminded the students to pay attention to electrical safety, keep the environment clean and tidy, ensure that the electricity is turned off when people leave, and that doors and windows are closed, jointly maintaining campus safety and stability.

Subsequently, teachers Zhuang Mei, Zhu Feng, and Cao Xinyi visited the graduate dormitory area to extend their holiday greetings to the students. During their visit, the teachers showed meticulous care for the students' recent academic, internship, and living situations, listening to their progress and practical needs. At the same time, the teachers also emphasized the safety precautions for the dormitory during the winter vacation, reminding the students to enhance their safety awareness and jointly maintain a good living environment. In addition, the teachers had in-depth discussions with the management personnel of the area regarding the students' situation, implementing front-line work and collaborating to provide quality educational services.

Teachers Yu Gen, Xiong Jufeng, and Qu Lintong visited the undergraduate students' dormitories to understand their academic progress and holiday plans, paying special attention to the future plans and progress of the graduating class. They listened patiently to the difficulties and confusion of the students, provided targeted advice, and encouraged them to maintain a positive attitude, make rational use of their holidays to enrich themselves, and prepare fully for the new semester.

This "one-stop" student community activity not only made the students who stayed on campus feel the warmth and care from the college, but also reflected the high regard that the School of Statistics and Data Science places on student work and safety education. The college will continue to adhere to a student-centered and problem-oriented approach, actively respond to students' concerns, effectively help them overcome difficulties, and lead everyone to grow into young people of the new era who have ideals, dare to take responsibility, can endure hardship, and are willing to strive.
