Research Field
Dr. Wu Chunjie has conducted many valuable research works in industrial statistics, market research, financial modeling, and government statistics. In academic research, he has published over 50 papers in journals such as JASA, AoAS, Tech, IISE, JQT, NRL, IJPR, "Science in China: Mathematics," "Economic Research," and "Financial Research." He has led 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, 1 major project from the National Bureau of Statistics, and 1 Shanghai natural science project. He has undertaken over 20 commissioned projects from government and enterprise units, including the Shanghai Municipal Government, the municipal statistical system, the education system, the bonded zone, Shanghai First Hospital, and Taiping Life Insurance. He has led 2 key courses in Shanghai, a national first-class undergraduate course, and is responsible for high-quality courses, ideological and political demonstration courses, and a demonstration teaching team for "Mathematical Statistics." He has undertaken 3 teaching projects in Shanghai and has received the first and second prizes of the Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award, the first prize of the Shanghai Teaching Innovation Competition, the second prize in the Ideological and Political Design Competition, and the second prize for excellent achievements in Shanghai's philosophy and social sciences. He has guided students to participate in various national and provincial-level professional competitions and extracurricular projects, winning over 50 awards, including 1 first prize and 1 third prize in the "Challenge Cup" national competition, 2 special prizes and 1 first prize in Shanghai, and honors such as excellent guiding teacher.
