【摘 要】 My talk consists of three parts. In the first part, I will present an overview on the status quo of Big Data Surge in biomedical sciences. In the second part, I will discuss the relevance of Big Data to statistical science, including current challenges, potential strategies, and collaborations. In the third part, I will focus on the training of highly qualified personnel in the time of Big Data, including dilemma and opportunity. Over the three parts, various examples from my own research projects will be used to make points.
